Ray Pace Elected as Vice Chair of CEA’s Technology & Standards Council

HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK – MARCH 30, 2015 -–VOXX Electronics Corporation (VEC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX), announced today that Ray Pace has been elected as vice chair of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® Technology & Standards Council (TSC).  The TSC guides CEA’s work on technology and standards activities, including CEA’s standards development program which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute.

CEA leads technology manufacturers in fostering consumer electronics industry growth by developing industry standards and technical specifications that enable new products to come to market and encourage interoperability with existing devices.  CEA’s standards program has over 60 active groups and more than 1,300 participants developing industry standards for audio, video, networking, automotive and wireless applications.

Ray has more than 30 years of experience developing professional and consumer audio technology, and is currently a senior design engineer for Jensen/Advent mobile products at VOXX.  He has also been active with CEA on various roles for over 12 years.
