HTSA to Offer New Business Management Masterclass Training Based on Renown Entrepreneurial Operating System

Barrington, IL:  Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), the leading national hybrid-retail and custom integration buying group, working in conjunction with leading members of the EOS® Implementer Community, will offer a new business management Masterclass training program based on the Entrepreneurial Operating System® for group members. This new program, titled the EOS Masterclass, is expected to launch in summer 2017 and will help HTSA members and their entire team better manage their businesses to achieve greater success in an entrepreneurial organization.

Members Introduced to EOS at 2017 HTSA Spring Conference

Members were introduced to EOS in a keynote presentation at the 2017 HTSA Spring Conference in San Diego. Keynote speaker Mike Paton, in a presentation titled Get a Grip on Your Business – Six Keys to Getting What You Want from Your Entrepreneurial Business – revealed and explained several important principles of EOS to members. The members even had the opportunity to engage in a “Traction Roundtable” for a more specific and pragmatic discussion of how to implement these principles in their respective businesses.

“Technical training programs on products and technologies are very important to our members and nobody does a better job of providing that than HTSA. But we believe that training in business skills is equally important – and this is what sets HTSA apart,“ said Jon Robbins, Executive Director of Home Technology Specialists of America, Inc. “I am very familiar with the Entrepreneurial Operating System and several of our premier members have previously implemented EOS and report great success. The group is making a significant investment to offer this new tailored-for-HTSA members EOS Masterclass which teaches entrepreneurs how to be more effective in running their businesses – and ultimately, how to achieve progressively higher levels of success.”

The EOS Program

The Entrepreneurial Operating System was created by Gino Wickman, a serial entrepreneur and author of several successful business books – with over 300,000 EOS books sold. Wickman began his entrepreneurial career at the tender age of 21, and when just 25 years old took over a struggling family business which he turned around and successfully sold.

Wickman sought to create a pragmatic, real-world program to teach other entrepreneurs a practical method for helping companies achieve greatness. This program, EOS, is now being fully implemented by three thousand companies globally, and certain select EOS tools are being used daily by tens of thousands of companies.

EOS helps entrepreneurs get better at three things:

  • Vision – Getting everyone in your organization 100% on the same page with where you’re going, and how you plan to get there.
  • Traction® – Instilling focus, discipline, and accountability throughout the company so that everyone executes on that vision – every day.
  • Healthy – Helping your leaders become a more cohesive, functional, healthy leadership team.

In HTSA’s new EOS Masterclass, members will take part in an immersive two-day agenda and learn about the six key components of any business, including: Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction®. After this deep dive into the EOS, HTSA members will emerge ready to tackle any challenge – and to extend the system to their entire team.

HTSA’s Masterclass Program

Launched one year ago, HTSA’s Masterclass Program is a new concept in member education that utilizes outside subject matter experts on topics the group management deems critically important. These outside experts then work in conjunction with the group to custom-tailor content in their area of expertise, such that it better meets the pragmatic needs of HTSA members.

The very first Masterclasss created for members was the Sell More Audio Masterclass held over two days in Kennesaw, Georgia. Since then, the group has produced Masterclass programs on several other topics.

Although the process of commissioning the creation of a Masterclass program is one which requires a significant investment by the organization, the group considers it a down payment on the future of its members…and, ultimately, the group itself.
