Gary Fletcher to Lead Polk Audio, Definitive Technology and Polk BOOM Global Sourcing for Sound United.
Vista, Calif. (May 3, 2016) – Sound United, a division of DEI Holdings, Inc., parent company to Polk Audio, Definitive Technology® and Polk BOOM, today announced the hire of Gary Fletcher as Vice President of Global Sourcing. In the company’s new role, Fletcher will manage Sound United’s global sourcing efforts with an emphasis on continuing to accelerate the company’s innovative product portfolio. Fletcher will report directly to Kevin Duffy, President of Sound United, and will be a member of the leadership team. His appointment is effective immediately.
Fletcher brings to Sound United over 20 years of sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, and product development experience across a broad array of products including speakers, headphones, electronic components, automotive products, and wireless systems. Fletcher most recently served as Vice President of procurement at Harman International. Prior to Harman International, Fletcher led supply chain and quality activities for Motorola and Ford in the United Kingdom and Germany.
