The Alpine Restyle Jeep Wrangler Debuts on Television in a New Commercial

Torrance, Calif. (July 23, 2015) – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. has just launched a cable TV commercial for its Alpine Restyle line of products.  The X009-WRA Restyle dash system is the featured product in the new 30-second spot and is shown in the company’s customized Jeep Wrangler demo vehicle.  The commercial includes a cameo appearance by Richard Rawlings from Discovery Channel’s Fast N’ Loud.

Alpine’s X009-WRA Restyle dash system with 9-inch touch screen for 2011-up Jeep Wranglers takes the spotlight in this light-hearted but practical commercial.  The X009-WRA debuted in April and has shown to be popular among Wrangler owners who want to upgrade their vehicle with a screen based dash system.  Alpine’s blue, Kevlar-coated Jeep Wrangler made by Starwood Motors of Dallas plays an integral role in the story.  Shot entirely on location in the California High Desert, the commercial shows the driver of the Alpine Jeep enjoying a stress-free drive in the rugged terrain thanks to the X009-WRA.  In contrast, his friends who are driving a stock vehicle struggle with various connectivity issues and stumble upon Rawlings in hopes of finding advice and driving directions.  The commercial can be viewed here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLbUcjBfXbA

The commercial is now airing in over 25 major metropolitan areas in the U.S. and appears on cable channels specializing in sports, reality shows and automotive shows.  Over 3.8 million viewers will be reached during the campaign.  Contact information for authorized Alpine retailers who are supporting the Alpine Restyle program is shown at the end of the commercial and the spot airs in the local area markets served by these retailers.  An expanded version of the commercial will be used in Alpine’s online campaigns.

“Over the years, our independent specialist retailers have asked for additional manufacturer support to draw consumers into their stores,” said Steve Crawford, vice president and general manager, aftermarket business unit, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.  “We have listened, and we are excited to launch this campaign to drive mainstream qualified consumers to our retailers with this unique, premium product.”

Although the X009-WRA is highlighted in the commercial, its product features are universal across all eight models of X009 Restyle dash systems.  All Restyle dash systems have a 9-inch touch screen that controls audio, video, navigation and Bluetooth® wireless technology.  Each system comes with a vehicle specific dash kit for a factory-look installation and an iDataLink Maestro® module to retain factory features.  Vehicle-specific Restyle dash systems are available for select models and years of: Jeep Wrangler®, GM® trucks/SUVs, Ford F-150® trucks, Ram® trucks and Toyota Tundra®.  There is also a universal fit version for custom installations.  Alpine Restyle dash systems are available now at authorized Alpine retailers, visit www.alpine-usa.com for the store locator.
