Wayne, N.J. — JVC Americas said on Monday it is now shipping a flagship camcorder optimized to capture high-quality fast-moving FullHD video.
The JVC Procison GC-PX100 ($1,000 suggested retail) offers high-bit-rate progressive recording, plus high-speed recording for super-slow-motion video.
JVC’s new video camera also adds Wi-Fi connectivity and specialized apps.

Wayne, N.J. — JVC has begun shipping the three newest additions to its Xtreme Xplosives series of headphones.
All of the headphones were first shown during International CES in January.
The on-ear headphones, model HA-S44X, have 40mm drivers and an oxygen-free copper cable. Suggested retail is $39.95. A version with an in-line mic and one-button remote is available (model HA-SR44X, $49.95). The controls are said to be compatible with most smartphones.
Irvine, Calif. — JVC-TV introduced Monday a 50-inch R-series FullHD BlackCrystal edge-lit LED LCD TV featuring an ultra-slim bezel and 120Hz refresh rate.
At the same time, the company unveiled a monthly social-media product giveaway program. Beginning today, and continuing monthly, viewers who like the JVC-TV Facebook page or follow the company on Twitter at @JVC_TV, will be invited to enter an online contest to win a high-value prize.
Wayne, N.J. — JVC said Monday it is using a team of professional athletes to capture action video clips using its Adixxion line for use in an online and social-media promotion.
JVC said it recently expanded its roster of athletes, which it called “action sports partners,” to help promote the Adixxion series.
New York – The MirrorLink capabilities of select aftermarket in-dash multimedia head units from JVC and Sony can now be used with a pair of widely popular Android smartphones, Samsung’s Galaxy SIII and Galaxy Note II.
Samsung launched its DriveLink app for the two smartphones, enabling control of the phones’ core functions from touchscreen-equipped in-dash aftermarket and OEM head units.
