Northbrook, Ill. — C.E.D. (Consumer Electronics Distributors) will host its annual product show, the “Fall Ball,” Oct. 15, 16 and 17 at two of the distributor’s locations.
It will be held at the Bensenville, Ill., facility at 880 Devon Ave. on Oct. 15 and 16, and at its New Berlin, Wis., location, at 16850 W. Victor Road, on Oct. 17.
The Fall Ball is C.E.D.’s largest show and includes product presentations and demonstrations from LG, Toshiba, Sharp, Elite, Pioneer, Yamaha, Onkyo, Polk, Jamo, Proficient, 2GIG, RTI, Digital Watchdog and more.

Northbrook, Ill. — C.E.D. (Consumer Electronics Distributors) has hired Jamie Lokken as account manager as it expands to Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota.
Lokken, a CE retail and distribution industry veteran, will develop the new territory for C.E.D. and Power House Alliance, of which the distributor is a member.
C.E.D., based here, was founded in 1992 and has evolved into a premium distributor of top brands and lines in the consumer electronics industry.
Northbrook, Ill. — CED awarded Premiere Systems a brand-new 2012 Ford Transit from Bredemann Ford in Glenview, Ill., as part of the distributor’s recent Fall Ball show and produce demo event.
Ken Johnson from Premiere accepted the award from Avery Baron and Paul Thariath of CED, a distributor that is part of the PowerHouse Alliance.
