Edmond, Okla. — Petra Industries held its 11th Annual Car Audio Expo Sunday, April 21, here, with retailers seeing demos of new mobile A/V products.
The Expo included A/V receivers, DVD players, speakers, CD head units, navigation systems and accessories, subwoofers and much more from the 26 industry-leading manufacturers exhibiting, the distributor said.

This year’s Expo is themed “We’re Gonna Leave Our Mark,” and features a full schedule of exciting activities for the 11th annual celebration that promises to be even more memorable than years past, Petra said.
Edmond, Okla. – Petra Industries has signed a distribution partnership with Aton.
Aton’s offers audio distribution solutions for the home, focusing on systems “that keep things simple yet flexible for the custom installer,” Petra said.
Edmond, Okla. — Petra Industries has partnered with Mohu to sell its line of high-definition TV antennas.
Mohu products offer customers a high-definition antenna signal alternative to traditional cable and satellite subscribers without sacrificing high definition capabilities. The antennas are paper-thin and offer free, over-the-air broadcasts while still delivering a true HDTV experience, Petra said.
Edmond, Okla. – Petra Industries has named Mark Conley as e-commerce regional sales manager, west coast for the CE distributor.
He most recently served as a director of e-commerce sales for Lock&Lock, a global housewares vendor.
Conley will be responsible for building “profitable growth and aggressive sales results” and for building and maintaining key account relationships and major mainstream partnerships in the region, Petra said.
Edmond, Okla. – Petra Industries has named Jorge Grijalva as district manager of its Car Audio division for Texas.
Petra, a distributor of CE, custom installation products, wireless accessories, mobile audio/video accessories and appliance connection supplies, appointed Grijalva based on his extensive 10-year plus background in sales and business management, including four as a car audio multi-retail business owner, the distributor said.
