Hisense Unveils Sero 7 Tablet Pair Through Walmart

New York — Hisense launched its first branded tablets for the U.S. market here Thursday, announcing two Wi-Fi-only SKUs that will be sold exclusively through discount store giant Walmart.

 The tablets include the Sero 7 LT (light), which carries a $99.99 suggested retail, and the Sero 7 Pro, which carries a $149 suggested retail.

Both models will be available starting Friday at more than 3,000 Walmart stores across the country.

Suwanee, Ga. — Hisense USA said Monday it has implemented a new in-home warranty program to address customer concerns before, during or after their decision to buy.

All in-warranty Hisense televisions purchased on or after April 1 are eligible for the program, the company said.

Under the program, Hisense said it will send a factory-trained technician from a Hisense service provider to the customer’s home to repair the television at the customer’s convenience.

Suwanee, Ga. — Walmart stores across the country have started selling Hisense USA’s 40-inch and 46-inch K360M-series Roku-ready LCD HDTVs and 50-inch and 55-inch K610 smart TVs, the TV maker said this week.

The K610 models — 55-inch ($798) and 50-inch ($648) — offer a super-slim (13mm) bezel, built-in, FullHD 1080p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a Hisense smart-TV interface, providing access to streaming apps from Vudu, Netflix, YouTube and Pandora, the company said.

Frank is responsible for the development of Hisense USA’s annual consumer marketing and branding strategies as well as retailer and business partner programs. He is also responsible for all advertising, digital media, PR and media relations programs.

Suwanee, Ga. — Hisense USA said Friday it is now selling its FullHD LED LCD TV models K360G and K366W through SamsClub.com.

The K366W (currently $388 online) is a 40-inch model with built-in Wi-Fi with the latest Hisense smart-TV user interface and remote control. App partners available on the set include Vudu, Pandora, YouTube and Netflix, among others, “at nearly half the price of competitive models,” the company said.

Suwanee, Ga. — Hisense USA said Tuesday its K366-series standard 2D LCD TVs with smart-TV functionality are now available at Walmart stores.

The series includes models in the 40- and 50-inch screen sizes.

The K366 series builds on the 2D features of Hisense’s K360 series, adding smart-TV functionality, with social media networking, movie and TV streaming, music streaming, photos and other multimedia applications into any room.
