Ronkonkoma, N.Y. — Sigma introduced Thursday a 60mm F2.8 DN Art lens for mirrorless compact system cameras, adding a new focal length in the company's lineup for both Micro Four Thirds and Sony E-mount cameras.
Sigma's 60mm F2.8 DN Art lens will hit shelves mid-May at a $239 estimated street price.
First revealed at the CP+ Camera and Photo Imaging Show in Japan earlier this year, the 60mm F2.8 joins Sigma’s other DN lenses for mirrorless compact system cameras — the 19mm F2.8 DN and the 30mm F2.8 DN.
Yokohama, Japan — Sigma of America introduced Tuesday four lenses for its ART product line, including three lenses for mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras and one APS-C DSLR model.
The Sigma lenses include the 30mm F1.4 DC HSM, which will be available in Sigma, Canon and Nikon mounts, and the 30mm F2.8 DN, 19mm F2.8 DN and 60mm F2.8 DN lenses, which are available for both Micro Four Thirds and Sony E-Mount camera systems.
Pricing and availability on all of lenses will be announced later.
Center Valley, Pa. – Olympus has introduced an M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f1.8 lens to its family of Micro Four Thirds lenses.
The 34mm equivalent lens (in 35mm film cameras) offers a bright, wide-angle, single-focal-length for snapshot street shooting, landscape photography or capturing subjects in challenging low-light environments.
The compact lens, which ships in December at a $500 suggested retail, features a metal body and a Snapshot Focus mechanism for pan focusing with a distance indicator.

Available in mounts for Nikon, Canon, Sony, Pentax and Sigma DSLRs, the prime lens carries an $899 estimated street price.
The 35mm F1.4 DG HSM will feature a new matte finish and overall new design concept, which includes a clearly defined category label.
The lens provides exceptional low-light performance and a pronounced bokeh effect.
