SECAUCUS, N.J. — Panasonic Consumer Marketing Company of North America added three new DECT 6.0 phone series to its lineup last week.
All three series — the KX-TG787x, KX-TG684x and KX-TG422x — feature the company’s Link2Cell technology, which can link two cellphones to the DECT handset. Users of the KX-TG787x series will also now be alerted to incoming text messages, and there is now a USB port on the base to charge cellphones.

NEW YORK — Absolute Technologies has introduced the LinkCase, a Wi-Fi boosting, signal-enhancing case for the iPhone 5.
The protective case uses electromagnetic waveguide (EMW) technology in an embedded proprietary sliding antenna that resonates with the iPhone’s antenna to boost a Wi-Fi signal by up to 50 percent.
The case has polycarbonate back, shock-absorbent rubber sides and a raised bevel on the front to shield the screen.
MORGES, SWITZERLAND — Logitech International announced an organizational realignment that will eliminate 5 percent of its workforce and net the company up to $18 million in incremental savings for the next fiscal year, according to the company’s 8K filing.
The company anticipates recording a pretax cash charge of between $12 million and $14 million in the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year. The charge is related primarily to the personnel reductions, with the company eliminating approximately 140 positions from its worldwide labor workforce.
AUBURN HILLS, MICH. — Digital Treasures has introduced the PowerFlask, a portable charger for simultaneous charging of up to three devices.
The charger, shaped like a traditional liquor flask, has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that delivers 13,000 mAh to two USB ports, enough to charge two iPads and an iPhone simultaneously, for instance. SALZBURG, AUSTRIA — iRoom, the European supplier of motorized, in-wall iPad docks, has established a U.S.-based sales division and begun offering its product line in North America.
The North American division will be lead by president Chris Lehnen.
iRoom’s iDock features a proprietary motorized, charging docking system that opens and closes to securely store an iPad or iPad Mini in a wall. When the iPad is docked, it can be used for control of installed smart-home and environment applications and A/V streaming, or as digital signage.
