Samsung Launches Bluetooth Headset With Charging Cradle

DALLAS — Samsung Telecommunications America introduced a Bluetooth headset last week that comes with a foldable charging cradle.

The HM7000 comes with a portable charging cradle and will be available for $99.99 at T-Mobile retail stores nationwide and online this month and at select RadioShack stores starting in November. It has a slim design with a textured finish and chrome metal details, and an ear gel design meant for comfort, according to the company.

Fellowes is introducing its Earglove BlueSport, a Bluetooth wireless headset, available with and without an adaptor for non-Bluetooth phones.

The wireless headset, called "sleek and sporty" by Fellowes, is said to offer razor-sharp sound quality at up to 30 feet away.

The rubber headset, which conveniently folds for storage, offers control buttons that are separated for simplicity and ease of use.

Cobra Electronics launched a Bluetooth handset for use in cars earlier this month.

The BT 200 is engineered to pair Bluetooth technology with a combination microphone/speaker handset so that drivers can answer calls without suffering from wind and engine noise, and without damaging their cellphones. It features the company's MicroBlue technology, which reportedly allows users "to make and receive crystal-clear phone calls through the noise-canceling headset."

Gentec International is adding a new mobile-phone headset to its Planet Wireless line of mobile-phone accessories. Called the Scala-500 wireless headset, the product features Bluetooth technology and is compatible with all Bluetooth phones using version 1.1 or 1.2 hands-free or headset profiles.

The Gentec headset can be worn using a flexible ear hook, on either ear, or with the Versa-Clip eyeglass clip that mounts the earpiece on the arm of eyeglasses or sunglasses.
