Video Mount Products (VMP) has introduced to the market a number of new flat-panel mounting solutions.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
Size is everything for flat-panel mount manufacturers as larger screen size mounting solutions and wall-hugging, low-profile models dominated second-quarter introductions.
Peerless Industries last month debuted what the company is calling "the world's thinnest mount." The ultra-thin Slimline universal mounting solution positions a flat-panel screen 0.4 inches from the wall.
Artison has made available its Universal Mounting Bracket (UMB) which provides an alternative to wall-mounted speakers. The product is designed to work exclusively with the company's own-branded LCR loudspeakers.
According to the company, the bracket allows users to attach Artison speakers directly to most flat-panel monitors so that the result is a seamless look where the speakers match the height of the monitor.
Kensington's computer products group made several introductions into the iPod accessories market late this summer and again in the fall.
Topping the list of announcements was the news the company had received Apple's “Works with iPhone” certification for its line of battery packs and chargers for the iPhone 3G. The new line includes a standard battery pack as well as its Mini battery pack, a car charger, an international travel charger, a power and sync cable and a dual charging dock.
