Headphones Category Welcomes 2010 Newcomers

The headphones category started 2010 off with a bang, with several companies beginning the new year with new introductions.

Vizio used International CES, held in Las Vegas earlier this month, to announce it was entering the headphones category with the introduction of two products: a pair of wireless headphones and a pair of headphones that feature Bluetooth connectivity.

Sennheiser’s HD 800 headphones boast new transducer technology from the company.

Audio Technology launched a variety of Sylvania-branded headphones and earphones this month.

Three products were announced: two sets of headphones and one set of earphones.

The SYL-NCE745 noise-canceling earphones feature "professional sound quality," according to the company, and they are designed to enhance audio in noisy environments. They come with a storage pouch, airline adapter plug, neck strap and one AAA battery for $59.99.
