Video & Audio Center recently added a $500,000 Sony sponsored showroom to its location here.
The room was unveiled during a grand opening event last month will provide the retailer with a state-of-the-art facility to showcase new technologies and products from Sony and multiple other manufacturers.
"We've enjoyed at lot of success during our 27 years in the Los Angeles area," said Joseph Akhtarzad, owner of the business known for its luxury electronic installations. "Our business has always been known for the plethora of Sony products we carry, and now we have a showroom that complements the technology that lives here. Our team is grateful for Sony's dedication to our business and thanks them for making this new showroom a modern possibility for our consumers."
Highlights featured in the showroom include Sony's entire line of LCD HDTVs, Sony Bravia wireless solutions, a dedicated Blu-ray department, a special screening room for Sony 1080 projectors and interactive displays of Sony's HD digital camcorder and camera, GPS devices and Vaio laptops.
Video & Audio Center has two brick-and-mortar locations, one in Santa Monica and one in Lawndale, Calif., and is also affiliated with the Just One Touch Showroom, also in Santa Monica.
