Staples Offers Online Tech Tips, Sweepstakes

FRAMINGHAM, MASS. — No. 1 office-supply chain Staples has hired broadcast tech-commentator Mario Armstrong to provide tips and product highlights to customers through the holiday season.

Armstrong will share his insights, where visitors can also enter a “Tech’d Out” makeover sweepstakes. One winner will receive a prize package from Staples worth more than $2,700 including a new computer, tablet, wireless printer, e-reader, networking accessories and the chain’s Easy Tech support services.

The website and contest will run through Dec. 15.

“Staples is committed to providing our customers the best technology offerings and in-store EasyTech associates to assist, making it easy to shop for tech this holiday season,” said Staples’ retail marketing VP Christine Mallon. “Partnering with Mario Armstrong is a great way to educate our customers about Staples’ tech offerings for both their gift-giving and business needs.”
