QVC is offering vendors a rare chance to get their foot in the door of its buying matrix this summer.
The leading televised shopping network will hold a product search on August 8-9 at QVC Studio Park, here, giving manufacturers, designers and inventors a forum to pitch their products to QVC representatives from the merchandising, product development and vendor relations divisions.
"Some of QVC's most successful products have come to us through product searches," said Darlene Daggett, QVC president of U.S. commerce. "While QVC sells many well-known, established brands, our ability as a retailer to demonstrate and speak about [product] features and benefits provides and excellent forum for brands that have not yet had national exposure."
