1,200-page fall catalog to more than
90,000 retailers, integrators and
custom installers.
This year’s catalog showcases
more than 500 manufacturers, introduces
more than 2,100 new products,
and drops more than 1,600
prices, “guaranteeing an unparalleled
selection of the best products
at the lowest prices,” Petra said.
Brands include Sony, Canon,
Toshiba, OtterBox, Olympus, JVC,
Garmin, Clarion, Olympus, RCA,
Midland, Monster, Jensen, Belkin,
Memorex, Peerless, Maxell, Motorola,
Panasonic, Pentax, Philips and
Pioneer, among others.
Top categories including portable
electronics and accessories have
been expanded, with computer tablet
offerings doubling with the additions
of such new vendors as Boss
Electronics, Skytex and Azpen,
while Petra’s cellular category welcomes
cases from AGF, Ballistic,
Body Glove and OtterBox.
Other new additions are headphones
lines from Pioneer and Ecko
Unltd.; Rand McNally navigation devices
for truckers and RV motorists;
Pinnacle Speakers’ Wafer series inwall
speakers; Pure Acoustics’ Lord
5.1 home-theater system; and new
kitchen appliances from Oster, Sunbeam,
Crockpot and Westinghouse.
In other Petra news, the distributor
is updating the terms of its freefreight
program. Standard ground
freight will now be prepaid on orders
totaling over $800 on in-stock merchandise
for products shipped to
one location in the contiguous U.S.
