Partsearch Signs With Circuit City

New York — Circuit City has become the latest CE specialty retailer to enlist the services of Partsearch Technologies, which helps consumers locate and purchase replacement parts and accessories for their A/V, computer and other consumer electronics products.

Partsearch, based here, combines specialized parts expertise and content with proprietary technology to provide retailers, manufacturers, service providers and, ultimately, end users with a seamless solution that encompasses merchandising, sales, fulfillment, customer service and administration. The service delivers a superior customer experience and can drive customer loyalty and increase clients’ profits, the company says.

The latest deal will give Circuit City’s customers access to over 7 million parts and accessories from Partsearch’s master catalog either in-store, online at www.circuitcity.com, or via a toll-free phone number. Shoppers can then find and purchase parts for shipment to their door.

“Our new arrangement with Partsearch allows us to further meet the needs of our customer by providing comprehensive part and accessory support for our products,” said Dave Mathews, senior VP of Circuit City Direct. Offering the service, he said, “improves out customers’ experience, and that helps us deliver on our promise to provide the best products and services available.”

Circuit City joins a long list of Partsearch dealer clients including Amazon.com, Best Buy, CompUSA, Crutchfield, hhgregg and R.C. Willey. Partsearch was recently ranked among the 500 fastest-growing private U.S. companies by Inc. magazine.
