LAS VEGAS — Leading CE specialty pure-play e-tailer Newegg.com held an awards event at The Bellagio Hotel during International CES to thank its vendors and suppliers for supporting its growth.

In eight years the California startup has catapulted to 12th place on TWICE’s Top 100 CE Retailers rankings, with $2.3 billion in sales in 2009.

The awards went to:

• Sales Achievement: Asus (Gold), Western Digital (Silver) and Intel (Bronze);

• Top Distribution Partner:
Ingram Micro (Gold), D&H (Silver) and ASI (Bronze);

• Highest Customer Satisfaction: AMD (Gold), G. Skill (Silver) and Gigabyte (Bronze);

• Best Technology Launch: LG Electronics (Gold), Microsoft (Silver) and Adobe (Bronze);

• Best Merchandising Campaign: Polk Audio Series II (Gold), Intel K-SKU (Silver) and NVIDIA Mafia II game bundle (Bronze);

• Highest Year-Over-Year Growth: Lenovo (Gold), Zotac USA (Silver) and Klipsch (Bronze);

• Best New Vendor:
Night Owl (Gold), Pelican Products (Silver) and Paramount Pictures (Bronze);

• Best-Selling SKU:
Seagate (Gold), Microsoft (Silver) and Western Digital (Bronze);

• EggXellence VIP Awards:
HP Commercial and Ingram Micro Canada.
