NEW Customer Service Companies, a leading provider of extended-service plans and product support for businesses and consumers, has hired Tweeter veteran David Tovissi to lead and “dramatically expand” its home installation service offering.
Tovissi, most recently president of high-end custom integration firm Criteria, was named NEW's delivery and installation services director. In his newly created role, he will work to enhance the company's existing custom install program and grow its current network of certified installers and technicians.
Prior to Criteria, Tovissi spent 16 years with Sound Advice and later Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, where he held various senior management positions.
To help kick-start the initiative, Tovissi was recruiting qualified installers at this month's Electronic House Expo (EHX) in Orlando, Fla.
