Best Buy's Geek Squad IT support service is now offering free downloadable "Two-Minute Miracle" video tutorials on topics like photo sharing, securing a wireless network, setting up flat-panel TVs and other topics online at www.geeksquad.com/education.
"We all have a different comfort zone when it comes to technology," said Ben Hymans, Geek Squad "secret weapon agent," in a release. "And the excitement of a new gizmo can quickly turn to frustration, especially this time of year. Now civilians have another route to making their new tech gifts work by accessing these Geek Squad tips online."
According to the company, the tutorials are based on the questions the Geek Squad most often hear from "civilians." Each is accompanied by a PDF guide that can be downloaded for off-line reference.
There are six different tutorials currently available including car GPS, car MP3, digital slideshow, game system streaming, HDTV connections and wireless.
