Stampede Consolidates HQ, DC

AMHERST, N.Y. — Stampede, a distributor of presentation and home-theater technology, has leased a new 44,000-square-foot facility, here, where it will consolidate the company's corporate headquarters and main distribution center. The distribution center will be fully transitioned from its present location in Grand Island, N.Y., by July 27. The build-out of the 10,000-square-foot office space and move of corporate headquarters from Depew, N.Y., is expected to be completed by September.

ADI Carrying PoolSonix Alarms

MELVILLE, N.Y. — ADI is now carrying the PoolSonix line of solar-powered wireless pool-alarm systems from S.R. Smith. This “green” technology allows dealers to uncover new revenue opportunities by extending safety and security in residential applications with wireless pool-alarm systems, ADI said. “Dealers can capitalize on this emerging market, while providing their customers with an additional layer of safety for residential pool environments,” the distributor said.

D&H Slates New England Show

QUINCY, MASS. — D&H Distributing will hold its 19th Annual New England Technology Show at the Boston Quincy Marriott, here, on Aug. 11. More than 800 resellers, dealers and retailers are expected to attend, drawn by show-day-only special pricing and seminars by exhibitors Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Hewlett-Packard and SonicWall.
