Philadelphia — Almo has extended its majap offerings in a new agreement with Asko Appliances. As part of the deal, Almo will now distribute the manufacturer's portfolio of dishwashers and laundry appliances.
St. Paul, Minn. — Capitol Sales hosted its 13th annual Dealer Education and Technology Showcase in Minneapolis last month. According to the company, more than 450 system integrators and electronic system contractors from the United States and Canada attended the event which offered technical classes and business classes for dealers. More than 70 manufacturers are said to have displayed their wares during the showcase.
In other news, the company has recently added Chrysalis subwoofers from Velodyne Acoustics , Tivax analog-to-digital converter boxes from Michley Electronics, and professional A/V products from Onkyo to its line card.
Scottsdale, Ariz. — DBL Distributing has entered a number of distribution agreements with a variety of companies across its multiple product categories. Many of the products officially debuted in the company's spring/summer catalog.
New to the DBL's accessory offerings are products from Callpod, including its Dragon Bluetooth headset. The category has also seen the addition Bell'O mounting products, Genie's garage remotes and wireless keypads, as well as selected recording devices and other accessories from Marantz Professional.
DBL also added Spot's personal satellite messenger to its assortment of GPS products and accessories.
The company expanded its gaming product segment with the addition of products from three new companies: Thrustmaster, Action XL and Q Motions.
Finally, DBL signed a distribution agreement with Denon DJ to compliment its offerings to the pro sound and entertainment product segment.
Harrisburg, Pa. — D&H Distributing will hold its Mid-Atlantic Summer Technology Show on Tuesday, June 10, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pa. This is the 10th anniversary of its Mid-Atlantic event, and the company said it expects more than 150 manufacturers to exhibit.
The show will run from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., and it will feature seminars beginning at 2 p.m. with its exhibits opening at 3 p.m.
Separately, D&H extended its agreement with Nokia and will now carry the E series range of converged wireless devices for business, in addition to the N series and other Nokia mobile devices already among its product selection.
The company also recently signed a distribution agreement to carry a portable radio player from personalized Internet radio producer Slacker.

Hauppauge, N.Y. — Electrograph Systems hosted its Display Technology Experience (DTE) reseller event at Chicago's Navy Pier, for the second year in a row, on May 22.
This year's program offered a number of industry-certified courses from NSCA and CEDIA, commercial and residential product training sessions, and manufacturer exhibits. The event featured a welcome address from Chuck Wilson, executive director of NSCA, as well as a number of training and education sessions with a variety of different topics and speakers.
In other Electrograph news, the company finalized a partnership with Minicom Advanced Systems, manufacturer of digital signage distribution systems. The agreement gives Electrograph resellers direct access to Minicom's remote management, distribution and extension systems while also strengthening Electrograph's position as a distributor of digital signage A/V displays and accessories.
Sturbridge, Ma. — MRI will host its dealer show called MRI Expo here at the Sturbridge Host Hotel and Conference Center June 13-14.
According to a release, dealers will be able to sign up for CEDIA and Mobile Electronics Certified Professional classes, sales and management seminars, vendor trainings and educational seminars in addition to viewing products from exhibiting vendors.

Edmond, Okla. — Petra Industries has partnered with Velodyne to offer three subwoofer series — the Photon, Bass Matrix and Starfire — all part of its new Chrysalis brand. The products debuted in Petra's spring catalog, which mailed in May.
Lutz, Fla. — Perpetual Marketing Associates/PGW Distribution (PMA/PGW) held sessions of its TLC-IV dealer education program last month at its facility here.
The theme of the sessions was "Acoustics — Getting the Best Sound Out of Your Room," and featured a keynote presentation by Terry Hill of PMI.
Additionally, the sessions featured presentations from executives from a number of manufacturers including Jamo, Energy, PSB, Audyssey and EZBracket.
Atlanta — SED International has entered a distribution agreement with VisionTek Products. As a result of the deal it will supply VisionTek's 3-D graphic cards and PC accessories to its clients.
Charlottesville, Va. — The Advantage Group (TAG), a national group of distributors that serves custom installers and systems integrators, has added Integral Marketing as its latest member. The Houston-based distributor will serve dealers in the Southwest region of the United States.
TAG's executive director David Weisman said in a release, "The addition of Integral Marketing allows TAG to significantly raise its service levels in the Southwest."
