Another Record Year For Digicams

As digital camera shipments approach an estimated 17.5 million units for the year and some 39 percent of U.S. households now own a digital camera , CEA's 2004 Digital Camera Overview provides a snapshot of today's imaging consumer.

The survey of online adults aims to undestand how consumers are using their cameras and how that differs with the use of film cameras. It explores the whole spectrum of digital camera use, encompassing picture taking, photo editing, photo storage and the online sharing of images.
