Almo Kicks Off Professional A/V Tour In Chicago

PHILADELPHIA —

Almo’s professional
A/V division launched its two-city Fall
E4 A/V training and networking tour this
month.

The first leg of the road show was
held at Chicago’s Congress Plaza Hotel
on Oct. 6. Produced in partnership
with InfoComm International, the tour
will conclude Oct. 27 in New York at the
Millennium Broadway Hotel.

The Chicago E4 featured first-time exhibiters
Armagard, Altinex, BrightSign,
MusicLites, Casio, Key Digital, Universal
Remote Control, Panasonic Broadcast
and Christie MicroTiles. New products
included NEC’s interactive classroom
tablet software and latest 3-chip DLP
projector, Sharp’s 80-inch Aquos flat
panel, and LG’s 47-inch direct LED with
a super-narrow bezel for video walls and
Supersign Elite-S compatibility.

Both cities will feature a new lineup of
training sessions, including:

• Keynote: How to Design and Sell
Green A/V Systems, with Gary Kayye,
Kayye Consulting;

• “Fun with Christie MicroTiles – The
New Digital Canvas,” with Christie’s
Bob Christopher;

• Power and Grounding Best Practices
with Paul Streffon, InfoComm International;

• Videoconferencing: The Business
Case Why Now is the Time, with Alan
Brawn, Brawn Consulting.
