Almo Corp., a leading independent major appliance and CE distributor based here, has added a specialty products division to enhance its niche luxury majap product strategy.
“Independent dealers continue to need new niche opportunities to drive footprints into their front door,” said Larry Feldman, Almo's senior VP of specialty products. “This has been the foundation of their business. Our brand strategy is to provide the independent dealer with luxury niche appliances with a value story for the consumer.”
Almo's vendor partners now include Liebherr (refrigeration products); Capital Cooking (pro indoor and outdoor cooking products); Faber (premium range hoods); and FCI Home Appliances (cooking products).
The new division's sales team includes Bridget Frassrand (Northern California); Mark Garrison (mid-Atlantic); Elwood Bryan (Florida); and Earle Douglas (New York metro area). Almo has also hired Medina Mid-West Marketing to serve the Ohio Valley territory as an independent representative for the specialty products division.
