LAS VEGAS — Coby Electronics will add a variety of headphones at International CES, including additions to its best-selling Jammerz and Attitudz lines.
“We’re very excited to introduce our brand-new offerings in the earphone/ headphone category — and to present consumers with so many must-have options this year,” said Christi Park, Coby product manager. “Like our popular existing lineup, Coby’s new models offer something for everyone — from diehard gamers to style-savvy consumers — with a wide range of colors, styles and can’t-beat prices that make these sought-after accessories accessible to anyone.”
New models will include the Jammerz Talk CVEM89, which features a built-in mic, metal housing, gold-plated 3.5mm stereo plug and a choice of four colors. Suggested retail is $7.99.
The Attitudz Chat CVEM80 ($9.99) also has a built-in mic. It comes in white, black or silver.
The Jammerz Flat Budz with Mic CVEM70 ($9.99) boasts a flat, tanglefree cable; built-in mic; neodymium dynamic drivers; and a choice of red, blue, black or silver colors.
The CV490 universal gaming headphones ($29.99) can be used with either PCs or Macs and with popular gaming consoles, Coby said.
Features include an adjustable boom microphone, in-line volume control and adjustable headband.
The CV500 and CV510 headphones, part of the company’s Performance series, are billed as having “on-trend minimalist design [that] meets high quality at affordable prices.”
The mid- and full-sized headphones have adjustable headbands and suggested retails of $19.99 and $24.99.
Coby will also launch two Bluetooth headphones at the show: the CVBT10 ($39.99) and CVBT20 ($49.99).
