Bell'O Grows Headphone, A/V Lines For 2013

LAS VEGAS — Bell’O International is introducing at International CES its first full size over-the-ear stereo headphones, two additions to its Triple Play collection of A/V furniture, and a new universal soundbar mounting accessory.

Under the Bell’O Digital brand, the company is launching its BDH821 premium full size over-the-ear stereo headphones, featuring a plush headband, softtouch rubber exterior housing and comfort-designed ear cushions. An integrated microphone and controller allows the user to manage the volume, make/take calls, play/pause music, and skip tracks with any Apple or Android smartphone or media player.

A tangle-free cord is covered in a durable, tightly woven fabric and features a 24K gold-plated plug.

Marc Sculler, Bell’O CEO, said the company intends to grow the Bell’O Digital brand. “The expansion into the full-size over-the-ear headphones market is the result of customer demand since the launch and success of the in-ear designs,” Sculler said. “We’re committed to offering our customers an array of popular styles in order to maximize reach across many market segments — and this is just the beginning of much more development for this brand.”

Also on display in booth 13019 are two new A/V stands added to the company’s Triple Play line, TPC2160 and TPC352.

The TPC2160 features a dark espresso finished solidwood frame with brushed-nickel accents and three tinted tempered safety glass shelves that can accommodate at least four A/V components.

The TPC352 boasts espresso-finished solid wood legs with a tinted tempered safety glass top shelf to hold audio/video components and a large drawer for media storage.

Both units can accommodate flat-panel TVs up to 60 inches and 125 pounds and offer three configuration options to meet almost any display and room layout, the company said. The rear mounting frame and universal swivel mounting system can be removed so that the system can be used as a stand-alone table, or the swivel mounting system can be removed and hung with the included wallmount bracket. Both models feature an open architecture design for ventilation and an integrated cable-management system.

Compatible with both units and also on display at the Bell’O booth is the company’s new universal soundbar mount. Constructed of steel with a pianoblack finish, it can mount most soundbars onto most TVs between 37 and 90 inches. It is less than a half-inch thick and mounts between the monitor bracket and the TV. Bell’O said it is compatible with virtually any TV wall mount or post mounted stand TV mount, including all Bell’O Triple Play models.

“We saw a hole in the market for a soundbar mount that addresses the different mounting requirements for the wide range of soundbars being manufactured today,” said Sculler. “With our universal soundbar mounting system, almost any soundbar or center-channel speaker can be beneath or above a mounted TV for a clean, low-profile look and a superior home-theater experience.”
