LAS VEGAS — Maxell will show off its Maxell Mobile line during International CES, as well as its new line of emergency LED bulbs.
Among the new Mobile products include its LED lighted sync cables for Apple devices. The cables show current flow while they are charging, and the speed of the flow indicates the charging stage of their device. For example, when the iPhone, iPad or iPod is low on charge, the current flow is fast, and it slows down when the device is almost fully charged. Suggested retail is $24.99.
Maxell’s new line of LED emergency bulbs includes three models. A $34.99 version will operate for four hours in a power failure. It is rechargeable, has two levels of brightness, and can unscrew from the socket to double as a flashlight.
A $39.99 version features a remote and has a 25- year lifespan. It is also dimmable. Another $34.99 version has a motion sensor that only activates when human motion is detected in dark conditions. All three are listed as having 30,000 hours of use.
Also at Maxell’s booth will be its Studio, Radiator and Balanced Armature+ lines of headphones, all of which were announced in November.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
