McLean, Va. - Forthcoming satellite-delivered home entertainment service XStreamHD has selected St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Jabil Circuit as the contract manufacturing partner for its suite of consumer electronics hardware.

The company said Jabil Circuit has begun production of XStreamHD's HD media server, HD media receiver and PRO media receiver in preparation for the consumer launch of XStreamHD services in 2010.

XStreamHD plans to reveal service launch plans at International CES next month. The service will deliver on-demand movies, video programs and music through a whole-home HD entertainment solution.

Content will be offered in FullHD (1080p) video resolution with up to 7.1 channels of lossless audio, including DTS-HD Master Audio and FLAC, directly to the home via satellite.
