Irvine, Calif. - Vizio has begun offering three months of free Hulu Plus video-streaming service on its 8-inch Wi-Fi-equipped tablet.

Consumers who purchase a Vizio Tablet or previously purchased the Tablet get the Hulu Plus app as a free automatic software update. Through the app, consumers can sign up on the Tablet to take advantage of the Hulu Plus promotion.

Consumers who sign up for the $7.99/month service can stream TV shows and movies to the tablet as well as to PCs and Hulu-equipped Blu-ray players and smart TVs.

The tablet became available in August at $299.
