Zappiti Player 4K Available For Pre-Order

Paris — Media center developer Zappiti, based here, announced the worldwide launch of the Zappiti Player 4K, which is billed as an Android-based media player supporting most digital audio and video formats, including HEVC H.265.

The Zappiti player also supports Ultra HD 4K up-scaling (both 3,840 by 2,160 and 4,096 by 2,160) for 4K Ultra HD TV owners.

The company said the Zappiti Player 4K is available for pre-order now from the Zappiti store at with worldwide free shipping at a $311 suggested retail (249 euros).

The Zappiti Player 4K is also compatible with audiophile uncompressed high-res audio, up to 24-bit/192 kHz.

The player incorporates an internal 3.5-inch SATA HDD bay with hot swap capability. The hard drive is not included.

It also includes a USB 3.0 port and an SD memory card slot, Wi-Fi with two antennas and Ethernet 10/100/1000 networking capability.

Zappiti’s media players link TVs with apps and programs on PCs, smartphones, tablets and other devices around a common easy-to-navigate user interface that aggregates users’ movies, TV series and music libraries. The interface adds movie poster and cover art information to home screen listings of Blu-ray discs, DVDs, movie and music file downloads, and available streaming media.

The player is also compatible with the Zappiti Media Center v4 applications, XBMC (Kodi) and other Android apps through the GooglePlay integrated app store.
