New York — Screen Media Ventures reported that Microsoft’s elimination of the $59 Xbox Live Gold membership fee is giving some 20 million-plus users of the gaming system direct free access to hundreds of free full-length movies via the Popcornflix and FrightPix free streaming-media apps for Xbox in the U.S. and Canada.
