Microsoft Cuts Price On Xbox One

As part of its prep for the newer, smaller, cooler Xbox One S, Microsoft has officially cut the price of the Xbox One.

The 500GB console is now $249, including the “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” bundle, the “Special Edition Quantum Break” bundle with white console, and the Name your Game bundle. This last one gives consumers the choice of downloading “Forza Motorsport 6,” “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition,” or “Rare Replay.”

The Xbox One S will start at $299 for a 500GB version, but that version isn’t expected to be available until December. The 2TB Xbox One S will be available Aug. 2 for $399.
