Verizon Wireless kiosks will open in all 21 Florida locations of hhgregg, as part of its chain-wide plan
The carrier said
its kiosks will operate like full-service Verizon Wireless stores, selling
phones and accessories, as well as offering customers the ability to pay their
Verizon Wireless bills or make changes to their current plans.
All 21 kiosks are
scheduled to be open by the end of 2010.

Wireless kiosks will feature the latest Android, BlackBerry and various multimedia
and smartphones, plus netbooks, wireless air cards and more.
These devices run
thousands of apps, such as Skype Mobile and V Cast.
has invested about $240 million in the past year in network enhancements in Florida
and more than $2 billion since the company was formed, the company said.
This year, Verizon
Wireless plans to launch its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless services in
25 to 30 markets nationally.
Last year Verizon
Wireless partnered with P.C.
Richard & Son
to open carrier-operated stores-within-a-store in the
chain's more than 30 New York/New Jersey metro area stores.
