Vizio Cuts Q4 TV Prices

IRVINE, CALIF. – Vizio said in the weeks leading into
the fourth quarter, it made substantial price reductions
on most of the models in its HDTV lineup.

“Such price moves would not be possible without
sufficient inventory levels, and we have some exceptional
holiday promotions planned to continue to drive
sales throughout the holiday season,” the company
said in a statement, addressing rumors that the company
may be having inventory problems. “We look forward
to maintaining our Tier 1 position in HDTV sales
in North America throughout 2011.”

Key pricing moves included the following:

E190VA – $178 reduced to $158;

E220VA – $228 reduced to $198;
E260VA – $298 reduced to $278;

E3D320VX – $498 reduced to $468;

E321VL – $318 reduced to $298;

E371VL – $448 reduced to $428;

E421VO – $498 reduced to $478;

E3D420VX – $698 reduced to $648;

M421NV– $698 reduced to $648;

M420SV – $748 reduced to $698;

E470VLE – $648 reduced to $598;

E470VL – $748 reduced to $698;

E3D470VX – $898 reduced to $848;

E552VL – $1,098 reduced to $998.
