CEDIA Expo Attendance, Exhibitor Count Up

CEDIA Expo attendance grew for the third consecutive year, hitting more than 18,700, up from last year’s 18,500, CEDIA announced.

The number of exhibiting companies grew to 510 from last year’s 480.

The numbers include a 16 percent increase in integrator attendance, the association said.

The number of first-time attendees grew 33 percent, and 124 exhibitors made their Expo debut, CEDIA added. The association said it conducted 108 training sessions.

Next year, CEDIA will return to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas but will start a month earlier, running from Sept. 14-17. The trade show floor will be open Sept. 15-17.

“I could not be more pleased with my first CEDIA as CEO,” said CEDIA CEO Vin Bruno. CEDIA unveiled its new brand strategy and communicated with stakeholders that CEDIA “is working to provide them with the resources they need to be successful,” he said.
