Audi Chairman Stadler To Keynote CES

Arlington, Va. — Rupert Stadler, chairman of the board of management of Audi AG, will deliver a Tech Titan keynote address at the 2014 International CES.

Owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the 2014 International CES returns to Las Vegas, Jan. 7-10, 2014.

Stadler will discuss future innovation in the automotive industry and its direct impact on the consumer technology market. Among other topics, he will focus on Audi’s initiatives in the fields of piloted driving, future mobility concepts and infotainment based upon comprehensive connectivity technologies.

His address is slated for 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, in the Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Theater. Audi Night at CES will immediately follow from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Chelsea.

The automotive market remains a driving force behind the strength of the global consumer technology industry, CEA said, citing research that an increase in sales for in-vehicle electronics will lead to overall sales revenues for factory-installed systems to reach $9.2 billion in 2013.

Stadler’s CES address will be part of the Tech Titans keynote series, where CEOs from top technology present their vision for revolutions in products, services and networks that will shape the next wave of innovation. Due to the consecutive keynote scheduling on Monday night, shuttles will be provided from the Venetian to the Cosmopolitan directly following Intel’s preshow keynote address, which will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
