Commack, N.Y. - Photo accessories manufacturer Tamron launched
Friday a photo contest awarding the winning photographer a collection of Tamron
lenses.
The
contest, which will take place through
Dec. 31, is asking photographers to present images that show off the
fall and winter seasons, including landscapes, nature, holidays, celebrations,
back to school and more.
Eligible contestants must
be U.S. residents 18 years or older to participate, and can be either
professionals or amateurs using any brand lenses.
The grand prize will be a choice of a Tamron SP AF10-24 F/3.5-4.5
Di-II lens for Canon, Nikon, Pentax or Sony APS-C d-SLRs ($499 value); a Tamron
SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 VC Di-II for Canon or Nikon APS-C d-SLRs ($649 value); a
Tamron SP AF60mm F2 Di-II 1:1 Macro lens for Canon, Nikon or Sony APS-C d-SLR
($569 value); a Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 VC Di-II lens for Canon or Nikon
APS-C d-SLRs ($629 value); or a Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD lens for
Canon or Nikon APS-C or full frame d-SLRs ($449 value).
Twenty finalists will be selected to be featured on Tamron's
website. Winners will be announced on Jan. 15, 2011, on the Tamron website and
Tamron Fan page on Facebook.
