Walmart Is Carrying a $99 Windows 10 Tablet

Bentonville, Ark. — E Fun’s low-priced line of Nextbook tablets will now feature an 8-inch Windows 10 model, sold exclusively through Walmart at an everyday price of $99.99.

Walmart caught attention on Black Friday last year with a similar device, the Nextbook 8, which it offered “while supplies last” for the same price.

The Flexx 8 comes with a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal, 1TB of OneDrive Cloud storage for one year and 60 Skype world minutes per month for one year. It ships with the Windows 8.1 OS, but consumers can upgrade to Win10 beginning tomorrow.

Some specs for the Flexx 8:

*1,280 by 800 IPS screen with capacitive multi-touch;

*quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor;

*1GB of memory;

*32GB internal storage, expandable via MicroSD card up to 64GB;

*Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n;

*Front webcam and 2-megapixel back camera with microphone;

*MicroUSB and MicroHDMI ports; and

*4,000 mAh lithium-ion battery.

E Fun sells almost exclusively through Walmart and Sam’s Club, although it does have one device (the Nextbook 10 two-in-one) through Target. All four of its Windows 8.1 devices are ready for tomorrow’s Win10 upgrade, a spokeswoman told TWICE.
