Asus Brings 7-Inch LTE Tablet To AT&T Network

Dallas — Asus will roll out its latest LTE-equipped tablet on April 10, when the Asus MeMo Pad 7 LTE will be available in AT&T stores, ATT.com and select national retailers.

The tablet, exclusive to the AT&T network, is priced at $8.75/ month for 20 months with the AT&T tablet installment plan, or $74.99 with a two-year contract. It will go for 99 cents when purchased with any smartphone on an AT&T Next installment-payment plan.

This is AT&T’s first tablet offering GoPhone pricing options with no annual contract required. Customers will be able to purchase a GoPhone prepaid-service version of the MeMo Pad 7 LTE at AT&T stores starting April 24 at $174. Consumers will be able to pre-pay 2GB of data service for $25/month, 5GB for $50/month or 8GB for $75/ month.
The MeMo Pad 7 LTE is the first cellular-equipped Android tablet from AT&T to feature an Intel processor, which is the 1.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom. The tablet runs Android KitKat 4.4.4 and has 16GB of storage with a 64GB MicroSD slot,

AT&T began offering select Asus products on an exclusive basis in 2012 with the launch of VivoTab RT and 2013 launch of the MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE. In 2014, AT&T launched the Asus PadFone X and PadFone X Mini on an exclusive basis. The smartphone-and-tablet packages consist of an Android smartphone that docks with a tablet, enabling users to switch screen sizes as needed for different tasks.
