Denver – Archos will ship three slim-line tablets this fall.
The new tablets fall under the company’s Gen10 XS line which contains 10.1-inch, 9.7-inch and 8-inch models
The 10.1-inch Archos 101XS weighs 21 ounces and will be 0.31-inches thick. The tablet will run on the Android OS and will be upgradeable to Android 4.1 later this year. It is slated to ship in November with a $399 retail price.
It will be powered by an OMAP 4470 processor, have 16GB of memory, Micro USB, MicroSD and Mini HDMI ports and connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The 97 XS and 80XS are expected to ship later in 2012. Specifications and pricing for these models were not released.
