Boston – Tivoli Audio is expanding its selection of Bluetooth-equipped radios with the launch of the $299-suggested Albergo.

In May 2012, the company introduced  a Bluetooth-equipped version of its PAL portable AM/FM radio with rechargeable battery and its Model One AM/FM tabletop radio.

The compact Albergo, which is Italian for “boutique hotel,” becomes Tivoli’s first alarm clock radio with built-in Bluetooth. Albergo features AM/FM tuner with RDS, LCD display that FM RDS text, alarm clock, and stereo Bluetooth in a compact white- or graphite-finish cabinet. A full-function remote is included. An optional matching stereo speaker can be plugged in to create a tabletop stereo system.

The LCD display displays prompts to help consumers to perform such functions as setting the alarm. Its auto-set clock keeps time during power outages. A single button is dedicated to each function, such as radio tuning, setting the alarm, and activating the sleep timer.

The Albergo will be available at retail and direct from Tivoli at 877-297-9479 and www.tivoliaudio.com.

Tivoli also offers a universal Bluetooth receiver that can be added to any audio system.
