Orlando, Fla. — Soul Electronics has updated its Party In A Box wireless speaker system.

The system features eight omnidirectional speakers, Bluetooth, digital signal processing, AptX, FM radio with RDS, LCD panel and multicolor perimeter light. Inputs include USB, aux, microphone and HDMI.

The system also has a carry handle and side-mount guitar pins that fit any standard guitar strap. It can be used via its rechargeable battery or AC power, and has the ability to connect to multiple Party In A Boxes.

The updated version removes the 30-pin Apple dock and the HDMI output, which played videos from the dock. Pricing stays the same: $999.

Soul recently announced it had signed Brendan Schaub as a brand ambassador.
