New York — Sony will be the exclusive supplier of CE products for Neiman Marcus customer-loyalty programs under terms of a marketing agreement announced today.
Sony merchandise will be offered to members of Neiman Marcus’ InCircle Rewards Program, while select InCircle Rewards platinum and Chairman’s Circle members will be offered memberships to Sony Cierge, an exclusive, by-invitation personal shopping program. In turn, Sony will also provide Neiman Marcus with marketing access to all Cierge members and VIP clients.
“The Neiman Marcus InCircle Rewards Program caters to some of the world’s most discerning customers of luxury goods,” said Tim Baxter, senior VP/strategic marketing for Sony Corp. of America. “We are delighted to have this opportunity to showcase Sony’s finest products, including our premium Qualia line, for this audience.”
The high-end department store group, which also operates the upmarket Bergdorf Goodman chain, said it “hopes to expand the relationship in time, to offer our members access to the full array of Sony’s electronics and entertainment products.”
The agreement calls for select Sony CE products to be featured in a variety of Neiman Marcus marketing vehicles, including its InCircle Wish Book, published annually; Entree Magazine, published quarterly; the Point newsletter; www.neimanmarcus.com; and various mailings and in-store rewards events.
