Washington — XM Satellite Radio announced that rap star Snoop Dogg will host a 90-minute monthly show on XM called “Welcome To Da Chuuch With Big Snoop Dogg,” starting Friday, Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. EST on XM’s hip-hop channel The Rhyme.

XM said Snoop Dogg will interview guests on the show and play his favorite hip-hop records, old and new. Each show will be rebroadcast five times, said the company.

Competitor Sirius Satellite Radio offers a hip-hop channel co-produced by Eminem, called Shade 45, on which Eminem appears occasionally, said the company.
