Infosonics Adds 6-Inch Verykool Phablet

San Diego – Infosonics launched its largest phablet to date, the $199-suggested Verykool-brand Cyprus with 6-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen.

The unlocked dual-SIM phone, currently available in the company’s web store, features 850/1900MHz HSPA+21Mbps data technology, 850/1900MHz 3G W-CDMA, and quad-band GSM/EDGE. It runs on a1.3GHz quad-core processor and features 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 32GB micro SD slot. The 720 by 1280 pixel screen features 245 PPI resolution, displays 16.5 million colors, and delivers a 69.9 percent screen-to-body ratio said to exceed that of the 65.8 percent ratio of other leading phones.

The 13-megapixl main camera features auto focus, 1080p video capture, photo editor, HDR, panoramic shots, and scene modes. It’s accompanied by a 3-megapixel front camera.

The Google-certified device also features 2,300mAh battery delivering up to 7 hours of talk time or 240 hours of standby time.

Other key features include Bluetooth 4.0 LE, FM radio, Wi-Fi hot spot, USB tethering, and textured back. It’s packaged with transparent clear-gel smart cover case, microUSB data cable, stereo headset, and UL-certified travel charger.

The phone is housed in an 8mm-thick metal frame available in gold or silver. The phone measures 3.3 inches by 6.5 inches.

InfoSonics sells Verykool-brand phones to U.S. regional carriers, distributors and retailers. Current U.S. regional carriers include Cellular One, i Wireless, Pane Cellular, GCI, Union Wireless, Alaska Communications, TelAlaska, Viaero Wireless and Arctic Slope Regional Corp. Retail partners include Amazon.com, newegg.com and Walmart, which offers unlocked phones. Infosonics phones are also sold in several pre-paid and independent retailer storefronts.
