North Andover, Mass. - SiriusXM will return to the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association's (MERA) KnowledgeFest 2011 event in August as the event's platinum sponsor.

The platinum level of sponsorship is the event's highest sponsorship level, said Chris Cook, president of MERA.

SiriusXM will be among the 52 vendors exhibiting at the event in 16,000 square feet of exhibits, up from last year's 46 vendors in 10,300 square feet of exhibits, Cook noted.

Expected attendance is tracking ahead of last year's 800, he added. Eighteen of the exhibiting vendors are new to the event.

KnowledgeFest is planned for Aug. 28-30 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Conference Center near Dallas.
