New York - SiriusXM's 2.0 service will appear in OEM sound systems for the first time when Chrysler rolls out its 2013-model-year Ram 1500 and SRT Viper, SiriusXM announced.

 The programming will be available through Chrysler's 2013 next-generation Uconnect infotainment systems.

The 2.0 service expands SiriusXM's channel lineup of commercial-free music, sports, and comedy, and it offers an expanded suite of Spanish-language channels.

 The 2.0 service became available for the first time last year on two dock-and-play tuners for the aftermarket. They are the $139-suggested Edge tuner and the $249-suggested Lynx.

Separately, SiriusXM  announced that for the first time, Ram 1500 and Viper purchasers will get a free 12-month SiriusXM Premier satellite radio subscription, which includes every available premium channel.
