Hoffman Estates, Ill. - Sears will kick off the holiday selling season with a "Black Friday Now" pre-sale Oct. 29-30, according to a circular that was leaked online.

Sears' two-day "doorbuster" includes a 40-inch RCA LCD TV for $500 and a 4.2-cubic-foot Frigidaire steam washer and companion dryer for $1,180, touted as 30 percent off.

Sears similarly jump-started the post-Thanksgiving promotional period last year with a weekly series of "Black Friday Now" sales that began on Halloween.

The latest 16-page, 158-item insert appears on BFAds.net, one of several websites that obtains and posts purported scans of planned circulars.
